The PATIENTS program is now accepting applications for up to twelve (12) $5,000 pilot awards. These awards are designed to help researchers obtain meaningful patient interaction before research activities officially begin. The goal is to bring together researchers from the University of Maryland and its partners to participate in a small PCOR project or activity, such as a focus group or interview series, that will help guide future research. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis through September 29, 2017.

Targeted Funding Announcement
The PATIENTS Program is pleased to announce a TFA for pilot project awards for up to $10,000. This opportunity is designed for UM researchers to meaningfully engage patients and PATIENTS partners prior to beginning research activities. The goal is to bring together multiple UM researchers to participate in a PCOR project or activity that would expand the PCOR capacity of the University of Maryland. Applicants (PIs) for this TFA must be UM Faculty. Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis through September 29, 2017.
